Cole Palmer Given Boost As Raheem Sterling Agrees Personal Terms With Chelsea

Manchester City rising football sensation and midfielder – Cole Palmer has been given a boost to permanently secure his place in the City XI as Raheem Sterling‘s departure is imminent and Gabriel Jesus has joined Arsenal.

The City youngster made 11 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 3 goals and assisting 1 time. Despite the assist and goal tally, Cole Palmer has been phenomenal in all the games and the goals include his Champions league debut goal. He grabbed his first Champions League goal as Manchester City produced a scintillating attacking display to beat Club Brugge 5-1 at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

Raheem Sterling has agreed personal terms with Chelsea. They are hoping to finalize the transfer fee in the next 24 hours. He is set to become Chelsea‘s highest paid player after being given a small uplift on his £300,000-a-week deal at Man City.

This is a huge boost for Cole Palmer as Pep Guardiola has been gradually  trying to include him in the City XI. However, the task will not be easy due to City‘s good number of attacking midfielders or wingers to choose form which include Jack Grealish, Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, among others.

Cole Palmer is a promising youngster and hopefully he will produce excellent performances next season.
